1. What We Collect

When you use NIA's services, we may collect: email address and account information during sign-up; domain names you register; anonymised chat interaction data (question categories, session duration, mode used); billing information processed securely via payment providers. We do NOT collect or store the content of end-reader conversations on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to: provide and maintain the NIA service; generate aggregate analytics for your dashboard; improve AI response quality; send product updates and billing communications. We never sell your data to third parties.

3. End-Reader Privacy

Conversations between your readers and NIA are processed in-memory for the duration of the session. No personally identifiable information about end-readers is stored beyond the session unless you explicitly enable lead-capture features. You, as the publisher, are the data controller for your readers' data.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription. Anonymised analytics are retained for 18 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time from your dashboard Settings page.

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We undergo regular security audits and are compliant with ISO 27001 practices.

6. Cookies

The NIA widget uses a single session cookie to maintain conversation context within a browser session. No cross-site tracking. No advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, DPDP, and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Contact privacy@nia.ai for any requests.
